We are very happy to announce the launch of our first iPhone Application. The Ecoki Reader is a simple iPhone application that lets you stay on top of all things Ecoki. The application is an easy way to read the latest news on the iPhone. Lots of updates are coming soon!.

We are proud to launch the first in a series of Nature Based Twitter Backgrounds. TweetHawk Custom Background Designs are free to use for personal use under the Creative Commons 3.0 Licence.

We are excited to launch the first site on the Slurp Network today. Design Slurp is a site dedicated to the design community. We feature some of the top blogs, galleries, magazines, and tutorials all in one home page.

We have a ways to go with this site and will be updating the site with more sites and information in the coming months.

We wanted to start a collection of great eco based companies around the world that are really making a difference. We are starting with 101 companies and will be expanding this list in the future to include some up and coming bright start-up companies. If you have any other suggestions for this list please feel free to contact us with your ideas.

TREEHUGGER is an amazing site that one could spend hours browsing through. The articles are very well written and cover a broad range of environmental topics. All of which, are easy to find, due to their well-designed navigation.

We come across many great eco and nature based website designs through our design gallery cssnature.org. We have decided to do a regular posting of our favorite designs and ethical companies that are making a difference in the world.

1. HEMLOCK PRINTERS
Hemlock was named the Most Environmentally Progressive Printer in Canada three years in a row. The company philosophy “Integrity in Colour”, summarizes things well for Hemlock, with priding themselves on reducing the environmental impact of the entire graphic arts industry. In 2007 they successfully eliminated 80% of all manufacturing-derived waste from the landfill stream.
